How to setup proxy for MacOS
To set up a proxy on MacOS, follow these steps:
- Click on the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen and select System Preferences.
- Click on the Network icon.
- Select the network connection you want to use the proxy with, such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
- Click on the Advanced button in the bottom right corner.
- Click on the Proxies tab.
- Check the box next to the type of proxy you want to use, such as Web Proxy (HTTP) or Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS).
- Enter the proxy server address and port number provided by your network administrator or proxy service.
- If your proxy requires authentication, enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
- Click OK to save your settings.
- Click Apply to apply your changes.
You should now be able to use your proxy with the selected network connection on your MacOS device.
